WES7 -- Initial delay when access shared folder
We have a PC with WES7E installed. Open a shared folder in "Run" window and it takes 90 seconds just to pop up the "Enter Network Password" window. For the second time, it only takes 45 seconds to pop up the "Enter Network Password" window. Access it by another PC with WES7E installed, "Enter Network Password" window pop up instantly.
Two PCs access the same shared folder, the one with delay problem has different connecting process as the good one. The extra frames of the Delayed PC listed below are captured by Network Monitor.
Why does it make that SUN Remote Procedure Call when accessin the shared folder?

Re: WES7 -- Initial delay when access shared folder
This forum is dedicated to networking issues with OpenVMS. Since your question is Windows centric, you are more likely to get a meaningful answer in a Windows forum. Place your question there.
