1000Base-T driver

Hi!

I have a HP J5600 with HP-UX 11.0 and I need to install a 1000Base-T ethernet card (HP P/N A4929-60001) but I can't find the drivers for it.

Please, can some one help me ?

hi,

the drivers you need are the gelan drivers

you may be able to just add these to the kernel with sam

if not then they should be on the application cd 1, look for the card part number A4929A

Most of the drivers have been moved from the software.hp.com to the business support center at http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareIndex.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodNameId=467360&prodTypeId=12883&prodSeriesId=467359&swLang=13&taskId=135&swEnvOID=7

Best of luck getting one for 11.0, the one listed in this case for the 1000MB Tx adapter only has the 11iv2 drivers.

Search through your old Application CDs as suggested.
