11i variant ???
is there any command to find which variant of 11i is running at present on my machine(ent oe,mission critical etc)

You could use swlist to see which of the components are present. If you see MirrorDisk/UX and Online JFS and Glance, you've got at least OE. If you see MC/ServiceGuard on top of that, you've got Mission Critical.

You can run
swlist -l bundle
and find the one that says HPUX11i-OE-XX
XX will tell you which OE you are running
swlist -l bundle
and find the one that says HPUX11i-OE-XX
XX will tell you which OE you are running
