A document?
The 19th of February 2001, at 20:11 PM GMT, you answered a question for a "Christopher LaPlante".
The question was:
Does anybody know what this syslog message means: And what needs to be done to correct the problem
vmunix: Warning! [391037105 ticks since boot] Sti_save:IteLock not available for 60 seconds
I have the same question!
Then you referred to a document called:
#KNC09181998001
Could you tell me where I can find this document? I have searched at HPs site without any success. :-(
Please... I'm in great need...
With regards
Pierre Gustavsson

Re: A document?
The Document you are looking for is available through this thread.
http://us-support.external.hp.com/cki/bin/doc.pl/sid=3d1263a00f820228e7/screen=ckiSearchResults
To reach this doc, Go to
IT Resource Centre Home --> Search Technical Knowledge Base ---> Search by Doc. ID (in the options for Search Criteria) --> Give the Document ID (KNC09181998001 ) and you have the document.
I'm also attaching the document you are looking for in HTML format. You can look at that itself.
Hope this helps
Thanks

Re: A document?
I really appreciate that you could help med so soon.
Some critic to HPs website now.
Pardon my language, but this pretty much sucks!
I'm registered at the European site and because of this I can't access the document.
I guess I just have to register to the American site also! :-(
Anyway, thanks a lot for your help guys.
Hope I can help you some day in the future. :-)
Regards
Pierre

Re: A document?
I hope this works, I think it will,.....at least that's what I've been led to believe.
Try replacing the "us-support" with "europe-support" in the url and PLEASE, let us know what happens.

Re: A document?
Two comments for you:
1. Whenever you attempt to search the Technical Knowledge Base, make sure that you are logged into the ITRC. This will enable to broadest access to documents. Failure to be logged in may mean failure to find documents.
2. While in Chicago at HPWorld 2001 last month, several of us discussed with members of the ITRC the problem of separate American and European sites as you have described. While I'm sure the need for rectification was well noted, you should know that you can *always* address your concerns, comments, and suggestions via the "contact hp" link at the left of a Forum page.
There is usually an on-going thread to report issues too. This month's one is:
http://forums.itrc.hp.com/cm/QuestionAnswer/1,1150,0xd28e5220af9bd5118ff10090279cd0f9,00.html
I have noted this thread in it for you.
Regards!
