A4800A scsi adapter

Can any one tell me if the A4800A single end scsi adapter will work with hp-ux 11.0 and if so is there any additional driver needed.

IOSCAN see the carc, but does not recognize anything connected to it

Thanks

What does 'ioscan' show? Is it "CLAIMED" or "UNCLAIMED"? If "UNCLAIMED" then you definitely need a driver.

Re: A4800A scsi adapter

You need a proper termination at the end of the bus.

Hope this helps!

Re: A4800A scsi adapter

hi paul,

The A4800A scsi card is not SE scsi! that is why it will not see anything attached.

The A4800A is a FWD scsi adapter and must have High Voltage Differential devices connected.
