My production server's installed NIC, (A7012A,) is only running at 100MBps.
Is it just an underachiever?
Thnx!!!

Re: A7012A
this is a PCI-X 2 PORT 1000BASE-T Adapter, first check if it is set to autonegotiate (on both sides, server [use SAM] and switch!).
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

There ya go!! Can't figure it out. Originally, we had APA setup on our old server. We purchased a new production server last fall, and just ignited it, (another rp8420.) Right now, it's still listed in the Aggregate, (lan900,) as a Gigabit interface. We do not as yet have the 2nd link hooked up.

Re: A7012A
The NIC is gigabit too, but the switch is 100FD only.
Since your NIC is set to autoneg - check the switch now.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
