hello everyone,I want to ask how to set the column of a line on the HPUX.

The width of a line of text on a printer is not constrained in HP-UX. However, if you are getting an error: "line too long", then your source file is not compatible with the printer. This occurs quite often when you try to use remote printing to a non-HP-UX system such as NT or other Windows system. Format your ASCII files using ux2dos before printing:

ux2dos /some_file_name | lp -dremote_printer
