Messages? or do you mean adverts? Also - I thin you are in the wrong forum....

How to remove the annoying Adobe advertisement on toolbar in Acrobat 7

Choose from menu:
Edit -> Preferences -> Startup

Look at the bottom of the form where the section is titled:
Application Startup

Uncheck the check box:
Show Messages and automatically update

Click OK
