Having a not so good day:
Got a passwd file and I need to add the users to another system. I am having trouble with the comment field and basically all of the fields in general.
Any help available?
Many thanks

Solution
You should be able to modify this hack and do it:
kudos to Pete Randall for providing the original.
This script needs work. I use it for different purposes every time I use it and it has lots of commented examples. Its poorly documented. Thats a charitable asssessment.
