Does linux support apache http server?
If so, how do I get it, and is there an easy to follow doc to configure it?

Re: apache

Robert,

You can get the binary from this HP site:

http://hpux.cs.utah.edu/hppd/hpux/Networking/WWW/apache2-2.0.35/

Basic Install/config should be easy.

Re: apache

Hi Robert,

Apache ships with the RedHat distributions. Look for a package named http. You should be able to find good documenation at the Apache web site:

http://httpd.apache.org/

Re: apache

Every Linux distro. I know of comes with Apache. Now, depending on what type of install you choose, it may not be installed. But that would be a simple matter of inserting the install CD and using rpm or Debian pkg mgr, etc to install it.

For configuration, see http://www.apache.org/.
