async io and DSYNC

Hi,

The Oracle Logwriter writes a file with the DSYNC-Parameter. Does this affect the async-io on raw devices, or is this only a parameter for filesystems?

Hi,

dsync parameter wouldn't affect async i/o or raw devices.
