Auto backup script
Hello,
I need customise the cron job.
see using control panel I can set the cron job for run that perticular php file. But I want to change that time not using control panel.
eg. one php file which is shows option for set the time like dropdown. so when i submit that form I want to change the corn job as user selected by dropdown list.
NOTE:- just consider in dropdown contains 1 to 10 set the hours. and I do not have permission to write on /etc/crontab file
please give me php code or soution for set the customise corn job

Re: Auto backup script
What I often do is have a cron job that runs every X number of minutes.
All it does is read a data file.
If there is data in that file, it runs jobs.
All I need in that instance is one cron job to run on interval.
The script that gets called handles all run don't run type decisions.
It simplifies my life.
