backup problem ... need help
I'm hv a big big problem right now. My DLT tape drive is spoilt and I've no spare drive at the moment. Waiting for a new DLT tape drive will take ages as we need to follow some procedures in calling up quotes. My question is this; is there a way to do backup to disk first and copy to the media at a later time.
Appreciate any help on this.
Thanks a million
Mok

Re: backup problem ... need help
Ignite usually only backs up operating system, but you can specify what you want backed up.

Re: backup problem ... need help
Thanks for the prompt reply. How do i check if my server has ignite backup. Server is 11.0. Beside ignite backup, what other possibilities available?
Thanks again

Re: backup problem ... need help
This web site seems to have some good stuff on streaming your backup to a remote server :) as mentione above.
