BIND 8.3.2

I would like to know BIND 8.3.2 is available on HP-UX 11.0. (Crrently HP Site talks about BIND 8.1.2 only)

You can find bind 8.3.2 sources on http://www.isc.org/products/BIND/bind8.html

Only 8.1.3 version 1.3 is supported on the HP-UX systems 10.20 and 11.00.

From 11i on bind 9.2.0 will be available.

go for BIND 9.1.x or 9.2.0,
as these are a much cleaner development...

if peak performance is a pressing concern, sticking with BIND 8 may be in order. BIND 9 is rather slower/consumes more CPU than BIND 8
