Re: [bind 9.2.0] for upgrade..
Hi,
You need to remove the old version first. And after that, install the new one.
Please check the url below about 'Installing BIND 9.2.0' :
For HP-UX 11.11 :
http://docs.hp.com/en/5991-0757/ch02s04.html
For HP-UX 11.00 :
http://docs.hp.com/en/5991-0759/ch02s04.html
Other documents (by using keyword : 'BIND 9.2.0') can be found from the url below :
http://www.docs.hp.com
Hope this information can help you.
Cheers,
AW

Re: [bind 9.2.0] for upgrade..
How many name servers do you have? (I hope more then 1)...
Upgrade them 1 at a time (start with the secondaries) - you will need an outage on each - IE - they won't be able to respond to DNS querys until they have been upgraded.
As far as install - it should (will - as I have it) be:
/usr/contrib/bind/usr/sbin/named
and a symbolic lin from /usr/sbin/named point to above...
