BIND

Does anyone know whats the current version of bind that can be run on a 11i server? I have bind 4x running on 10.20 server. I want to upgrade the OS to 11i and to current version of bind (for 11i). Does anyone know the exact procedure to do this?

Any version of Bind can run on 11i....

Your best bet is to install BIND 9.2 on the 11i server. It has the best security.

Then you will probably need to manually migrate your DNS database from 4.x to 9.x structure. If you copy the database over the 9.2 isntall might convert the data. Not sure about that.
