biod

proccesses named biod write the following error message to rc.log over and over again and cause / to be 100% full:
"Attempting to set Non-blocking IO caused: Bad file number"

I'm not sure exactly whats going on here but biod is and NFS client process. I would check to see if you have any NFS mounts that aren't behaving properly.
Never preceed any demonstration with anything more predictive than "watch this"
