Booting server from ignite

How do i boot a server from ignite and restore?Either on PA-RISC or on Integrity..

I would read the documents Torsten suggested.

Basically, you should install the same version on ignite on both the client and server.

You'll then have to create the client's directory under /var/opt/ignite/... and NFS export it so that the client can write to it.

Then do a make_net_recovery from the clien to the server.

Next set up the server to support the client's boot. This might mean modifying /etc/inetd.conf, /etc/bootptab, /etc/instal_bootptab depending on the the hardware and OS.

The 'Installing and Administering an Ignite-US Server' document is important because it covers the various options needed.

I suggest you to read the ignite documents.that will help you alot...
