Bottlenecks

Hi all,
please find the attachment, contains graphical
report of bottlenecks.
PLease define the last field..i e CPU Bottlenecks probability and Disks Bottlenecks probabaly..what exactly this means?
is it affecting to system performance?

Hi Yogesh,

This means that you particular source is heavily utilized. (100 % in this case)It is normal if your application load is heavy during this time. It is normal if performance is OK.
But if it is continuous for long which means you need to do something to improve performance.

As far as disk bottleneck probability, it depends upon the type of disk on which the filesystem resides. Is it a simple disk seen by the OS or do you have a RAID system and OS sees the RAID disk as a single disk.

As far as i undrestand, if it is RAID disk, the disk bottlenecks can be ignored.
