Bourne Shell Date Conversions
I am writing a script to keep track of how many days it been since certian files hav e been updated. Does any one know of a 'C' or shell program that converts from standard "mm/dd/yyyy" format to internal date and then be able to convert an internal date back into "mm/dd/yyyy" format?
Thanks,
Tim
Thanks,
Tim

Re: Bourne Shell Date Conversions
Hi Tim,
Here's a link to one of the many threads that references A. Clay Stephenson's caljd script:
http://forums.itrc.hp.com/cm/QuestionAnswer/1,,0x7d0f5bd3782dd711abdc0090277a778c,00.html
If you search through the ITRC forums for caljd you'll come across many examples of this great script in action!
regards,
Darren.
