Brio on HPUX 10.20

This is the error faced while starting the Brio Broadcast Server...

When I do a bqs.start, it says

"Broadcast Server: problems with preference file.
No Open Catalog directory supplied.
No BrioQuery Executable supplied.
There are no databases to poll listed in the preferences files"
