Browse problem during restore.
Hi,
I am facing problem from the omnibackup during restore some sessions which is specificaly for one File system. The problem is when I try to browse that mount point(/home/medprod/vision/dtc), it hangs and cannot browse that file system and sessions related to that file system. Can anyone tell me what is the probable solution to sort out the problem? We have already imported catalog from Media(by thinking that catalog protection has expired) but problem could not be solved. We have cehcked the omnidatabase also by runing omnidbcheck. But database was OK.We are using HP-UX-11i and omniback 4.1
So. please can anyone tell me how to solve this problem?
Thanks
Utpal

Re: Browse problem during restore.
Utpal,
Whether the filesystem /home/medprod/vision/dtc you are reffering to is available.
Also it could be NFS mounted and then u need see if there are ny NFS related issues.

Re: Browse problem during restore.
Hi Bharat ,
Thanks for the reply.
But /home/medprod/vision/dtc is mounted to san.san-va.
I am giving you the portion of bdf output for /home/medprod/vision/dtc
/dev/vgmed00/lvol01
220168192 131685096 87797520 60% /home/medprod/vision/dtc
/dev/vgmeddmx00/lvol1
We can access to this mount point(/home/medprod/vision/dtc) during backup.
I am not sure wheather the problem is related to nfs or something else?
Please suggest.
Utpal
