btlan1
On a k420 I reconfigured the ethernet to 100FD.
PHNE-19020 is installed but not configured.
I ran swconfig to no avail. I get, it is superseded and yet PHNE_22244 is not installed.
Error msg on PHNE_19020 with swconfig is: ...pls merge any changes you made with /usr/newconfig/etc/rc.config.d/hpbasetconf & put the result....any one know of any gotchas on this issue?

Re: btlan1
Francoise,
I found in the patchtext of the successor patch PHNE_19826:
2. Swverify fails with "ERROR: File "/usr/old/usr/newconfig/etc/rc.config.d/hpbase100conf" missing" after removing patch PHNE_19020.
This looks much like your message, doesn't it? I'd suggest to install the latest Patch and its dependecies on the system: (Maybe you need to use a force option, if PHNE_19020 says it cannot be deinstalled, or something):
System: 800, HPUX: 11.00
PHCO_23876 21.20 MB s700_800 11.00 cumulative SAM/ObAM patch

PHKL_22589 0.85 MB s700_800 11.00 LOFS, select(), IDS/9000 and umount race fix

Re: btlan1
I have installed patch PHNE_22244 and notice the /usr/newconfig/etc/rc.config.d/hpbase100conf file provided with this patch is older than the /etc/rc.config.d/hpbase100conf! Do I still proceed with the merge?
