BYTE_STATUS() function usage on HP-UX 9.x.
Hi,
I was trying to search on net about some
examples on BYTE_STATUS() function usage on HP-UX 9.x. I could not find any of them.Has
anyone ever used this function.
Please let me know, if anyone has used it ever.
Any pointers or website on hp would also be
of great help.
It is an obsolete function for higher version.
Any help on this will highly appreciated.
Thanks and Regards
Deepak

Re: BYTE_STATUS() function usage on HP-UX 9.x.
Hi,
The link does not have any examples of BYTE_STATUS, it just the man page BYTE_STATUS().
OK, I will more clear here.
I have two characters strings , one is Japaneese and one is in English. Can someone show me way to determine a Multibyte/double byte string
or a single byte string using BYTE_STATUS().
Any help on this would be appreciated.
Thanks and Regards
Deepak
