Hi,
We have a Digital Enterprise Storage Array Model no:
DS-SWXES-CA that has Diff Ultra SCSI connectors.
We want to connect it to a HP-UX 11.0 server K200 that has a GSC built-in Fast/Wide SCSI connector.
Can this be done using some kind of adapter?
10 points to any good answer.
Thank you
Gino

Solution
The sort answer is yes, but I dont know where your going to get your SCSI convertor from. We use Ultra2 SCSI disks with a converter on a FWD SCSI controller and they work fine.
Maybe you can get it at www.blackbox.com
You will have some problems from HP-UX though when you get it connected up. Its unlikely you will be able to configure the Storage Array from HP-UX - you will need to do it via some sort of console on the Storage Array, and the HP Diagnostic software will probably complain about it as it wont talk to it properly. We have this problem on one of our servers with a strange MTI disk array - the diags complain about it often, we just have to ignore them.
