cancel without email notification

Is there a way to disable the email notification "your printer request n2acct-7138 was cancelled by root." every time a print request is cancelled using the "cancel" command in hp-ux ?

There is no way to do this through any configuration of the cancel command but there is a document in the Technical Knowledge Base (KBRC00004059) which details how to configure sendmail 8.9.3 to stop them being delivered.
