Hello
When I want to remove the disk I get the following message:
The command used to reduce volume groups, /sbin/vgreduce, has failed.
The stderr output from the command is shown below. The volume group has not been reduced. vgreduce: Physical volume "/dev/dsk/c3t0d0" does not belong
to volume group "/dev/vg00".
Any idea
Thanks
Ralf

Re: Cannnot reduce / remode disk
If you
#strings /etc/lvmtab do you see the disk in the /dev/vg00 group?

Re: Cannnot reduce / remode disk
As the error message clearly says. Is disk /dev/dsk/c3t0d0 in vg00??
ioscan -fnCdisk - is disk there and claimed??
vgdisplay -v vg00
pvdisplay /dev/dsk/c3t0d0
strings /etc/lvmtab
