Cannot Change root Password

Cannot Change root Password

Hi,

I can login as root but I cannot change my root password. It says Sorry.. Im really sure that the password I typed is correct.

Apparently your system is trusted. One way to get around this would be to temporarily untrust the system, change the password (it won't ask for the old passwd), then retrust the system.

Shalom,

log on at the console, that will clear it if its disabled.

Or

null it out in /tcb/auth/file/r/root

and immediately reset it with the passwd command.

I am agree with Pate, This only the one work arount . Temporarly untrust the system and change the passwd and trust it.
