Cannot reach CDE login

Hi all,

I have this system which I haven't touched for 3 months and now when I tried booting it, I can't reach the CDE login screen. I keep getting a prompt for console login. I've checked that I'm in run level 3 but I couldn't understand why I can't get to the GUI.

Does anyone has any idea? Thanks!

Can see if you have CDE disabled... Make sure DESKTOP is set to "CDE" in /etc/rc.config.d/desktop.

I replaced the mouse and problem went away.
