cde cut and paste buffer
Hi All
After a period of time I am unable to cut and paste with within CDE. (Using exceed)
Is there some sort of buffer/file that reaches a limit. Logging out and back in rectifies the problem
I've been searching for a while but unable to find the resolution
Any input would be great
Thanks
Steve

Re: cde cut and paste buffer
Not that I'm aware of, but I'm not an expert on Exceed. I've never heard this from my users. I'm assuming you're not running terminal with logging enabled where the logging device fills up or some such.
An interesting test would be to try it out on another PC and see if you have the same issue. Maybe it's something related to the PC.
Also, is there any particular event that might be prompting this? For example, does it always happen overnight (meaning maybe some backup or regular nighttime task tweaks it) or ...?
Perhaps your versions of Windows and Exceed are significant.
Good luck,
Mic

Re: cde cut and paste buffer
Hi
It happens during the day or night and on all PC's I work on. All of my colleagues have the same issue
I was in the US a few weeks ago and funnily enough they were having the same problems with their sessions.
Thanks
Steve
