Hi,
the variable TMOUT controls the time-out of the running shell.... ok
What about a complete CDE session? How do I configure CDE to stop the CDE session (dtsession) of the current user when he's not typing any button (or mouse move) e.g. for 4 hours?

no users -- no problems

This can be done. It involves sending the ToolTalk message "Session_Close" to the dtsession process. Take a look ..

Re: CDE timeout mechanism?
Hi,
I am not able access the fallowing URL.
http://support2.itrc.hp.com/service/cki/docDisplay.do?docLocale=en_US&docId=200000058693901
It gives me dns_server_failure error. Is there any other place to download this information.
Thanks and Regards
Raghuram
