CDE
If i can see my server but then again i can't login.
Error was can't find server.
Can someone help..?

As to why this is occuring : I'm not too clear on the actual problem description
but it sounds as if you are connecting to an hpux server - O/S ? from pc's or xterminals - s/w involved ? Intermittently you are unable to gain access to the hpux host and login thru CDE - correct ?
I'd suspect networking here but you may want to look at /usr/contrib/bin/X11/dr_dt output just in case.
Next time this occurs make use of nslookup and ping and whether other applications fail : say a telnet session to the hpux host ?

If that's the case I'd fill in the blanks to the questions already asked so we get a better explanation of the problem and s/w involved.
I'd include whether DNS is involved and if possible attach the output of dr_dt to this post it would help .....
