I have two rp4440(PARISC)with HP UX 11.23.I had configured CFS cluster(Service Guard 11.17) on it, Cluster was up and running I am able to share the veritas disk groups on both the nodes.
Unfortunately after configuring some kernel parameters, One node crashed. So I re-installed the OS, patches, necessery applications softwareâ s on that node. After that I unconfigured the cluster it was successful and I tried to re-configure it again but it is throwing some error. As I gone through the logs it is pointing to package failure.
Please help me out to get out of this situation. Here I am attaching the cfs cluster package logâ ¦
Rgds

SolutionYou say you reinstalled the OS - did you reinstall all the necessary patches that are a pre-req of CFS. From my memory of doing this, if you don't have the patches, then the cluster won't even start due to problems starting vxfend (looks similar to what you see)
Make sure all these are installed:
