Re: Change screen resolution

Hi,

You can use setmon to change the resolution/refresh settings of the monitor.

/opt/graphics/common/bin/setmon

Kind regards,

Robert-Jan.

Re: Change screen resolution

Hi,

If this is a 700 series workstation, you can also toggle the resolutions pre-boot by using the TAB key.
Believe this function only toggles through the available resolutions of the card - so there can be no doubt whether the res is supported or not.

Re: Change screen resolution

Found it and finally got my res to 1280X1024

boot your machine if it is a 700, I have a C110

hit a key to interrupt the boot

go into co (configuration)

type mo to display current monitor config

type mo graphics3 or whatever slot your card is in

I set mine to 1 which was 1280X1024 72 Hz

got mine to work anyway

Re: Change screen resolution

Thank for John Bolene

I check my machine during pre-boot.

My just have one resolution which is 1280x1024, with 3 frequency 64,72, and 75.

So, I cannot reduce my display resolution.

Thanks
