hi friends,

can you tell me how to change keyboard layout+ language +codepage and fonts from one language to other, in UX and AIX? I want to change these things on a system from English to Japanese( the customer needs that).

man locale. You can list what all locales are supported on your system with locale -a command.

Dear kcpant,

Just for your information: I have a VNC server running on my HP-UX system and connect to it using a VNC client on Windows. On Windows I have the keyboard set to "US International" and this way it is easily possible to get Umlauts and accents when running Mozilla on HP-UX, see:

äöüà áôù

Maybe you need other languages though.

But this information might just be useful to someone reading this...
