CiscoWorks 2000
we're trying to set that up to run it as an evaluation (i've mentioned this before)
right now we keep getting an error due to a need for a script to patch a problem. the issue at hand is that the script was removed from the ciscoworks website. does anyone have the script mentioned in thi e-mail to me i got this morning(yes i posted over at the management software (well it was moved to there from networking), however i had no responses and decided to try here in the hopes that there are more people that go through here)
-----------------------------------------------
I just spent quite a while looking at cw2000 which doesn't work with just the
RME 2.0 kit installed. I did manage to address several errors in the log files
to the point where I think the only thing remaining is that EssentialsOSG won't
run (or stay running), which in turn shuts down a bunch of other processes
(which are dependant on the OSG and DB).
Of course, the reason these won't run is probably the dmgt_tune patch mentioned
in the release notes. Did you ever hear back from anyone on the HP forums to
see if you could locate a copy? I know we figured we could clean it up by going
to 2.4, but it may be a safer thing to try to find the patch and get 2.0
working first before adding in CSWI, checking again to make sure things still
work, and then doing the upgrade.
I won't be on campus Friday, as I'll be at a security seminar at BU all day.
Please focus your work on trying to come up with the dmgt_tune patch. The
files on /var/adm/CSCOpx/log are from a single run. Refer to those files for
the errors being encountered.
