Clearcase client connectivity issue
we have Clear case server in Windows 2000(license server also).We have a HP-Ux box installed with CC-LT client which is accessing
the above server.Recently we have changed the IP of CC server..after this change we are getting the following error while updating the view.
$ cleartool
cleartool> update BO_view
cleartool: Error: Operation "view_frz_ok_to_set_spec" failed: Permission denied.
cleartool: Error: Additional information may be available in the view log on hos
t "covansys-cq".
cleartool: Error: Operation "ws_ok_to_load" failed: Permission denied.
cleartool> $
and the updation aborts.
Note:
We have reinstalled the client and updated the host entry reflecting the new IP of CC server.
Please give any suggestions/directions...

The error message looks like your script is trying to do an rsh to the remote node and it is failing. Also as you have changed the IP Address I suspect this is the only problem.
You will need to compensate the new ip in the .rhosts on HPUX side
