Cluster Configuration

If i need to do any changes in cluster ascii file i need to halt the cluster or can it be done in online for 11.19 version.

I agree with Turgay.
Table 7-1 in most if not all copies of the Managing Serviceguard manual summarize cluster level modifications that can be performed online.

Table 7-2 summarize package level changes that can be performed online.

The tables also indicate changes that require the cluster or package be halted.

You can do any changes in this file. The problem is that the cluster won't dynamically update the configuration.

The ASCII configuration file may contain data different than the binary file (which in fact is important for the cluster).
