Re: cluster error message

Hi,

Check the ownership and permissions of your /etc/cmclnodelist?

Hope this helps. Regards.

Re: cluster error message

In fact it should be /etc/cmcluster/cmclnodelist. Check the permissions of /etc/cmcluster/cmclnodelist and make sure it has "read" permissions for the group of users that are entitled to run cm commands or for the others.

Re: cluster error message

Hi Linda,

As others have pointed out cmclnodelist may not be having read access to users, hence the possible cause of the error message you are seeing. Also look at the permission of the
directory itself /etc/cmcluster!

For some info on cmclnodelist: check this doc
