Cold install 11i - Changing Filesystem sizes ??

I am doing a cold installl of 11i and need to change the sizes of /opt, /usr, etc...
I am currently in the File System section that shows the current settings but when I highlight /usr and go to modify it doesn't give me a screen to change the size from.

What am I doing wrong ??

Hi,

I haven't seen that screen in a while, but I remember it being a bit tricky. I think what you have to do is tab over to the size and put in the number you want, and then tab over to Modify and press Enter. The Modify button just accepts the values you have on the screen.

Go for the logical volume sizes.

The filesystem size is fixed by the size of the logical volumes.

On a cold install I think you can pick the real size at a certain point... I dont believe you need to "change" the FS size...

I haven't done this in a while though, my memory might be abit rusty.

Once you highlight the file system, go down below and change the size. I also always change the allocation formula to "fixed". Then tab back up and hit the change button.
