Re: command

Try:

# mt -t /dev/rmt/0m rew (rewinds the tape)
# mt -t /dev/rmt/0m offl (Removes the tape)
Assuming you have a DDS drive. If it is a DLT, you will still need to pull the lever or the mechanism to take the tape out.

Re: command

Hi Suresh,

I think that you don't know how to assign points: on right side of post's date you find 'unassigned' (of course for default). It just is a dropdown menu where you can assign points according to posts of forum guys help you or no.

I hope this clarifies you how to assign points to forum people.

Best regards,
Ettore

P.S.: please don't assign point on this my post. Bye!

Re: command

sureshkumar,
I think that ITRC forum is better than other technical forum because it has this feature to receive points on post. I never saw it somewhere. That does the forum more funny! For this I suggested you to assign points, no in order to earn them on my post.

Best regards and good forum!
Ettore
