confused on processor count diff between ioscan, vparstatus

Can someone explain the difference between the number of processors returned from ioscan vs vparstatus or icod_stat?

Re: confused on processor count diff between ioscan, vparstatus

Hi

I'm not pretty sure. But, as far as i know, ioscan will show the number of cores visible to the OS.

For example, if there is a 1*Duo core CPU, ioscan 0fnC processor will show as 2*processors

Sp it will be same for vparstatus also.

Not sure abotu icod_stat here

Best Regards,
Ramesh

Hi,

Put the following commands output here:

# parstatus
# parstatus -V -p 0
# parstatus -V -c 0/0
# parstatus -V -c 0/1
# parstatus -V -b 0
# parstatus -V -b0
