I have a computer Pentium II installed Linux version Red Hat 7.2 and want to connect to a server HP rp2405 with graphic enviroment.

That I must do,

Telnet to the server but launch back the application, perhaps in the .profile of the user's account.

So vi $HOME/.profile and in the last line launch the appllcation.

export ip:0.0 (* of work station *)
/usr/local/bin/applicaiton (* whatever *)

In the Linux, open a terminal and say
xhost +
or
xhost +

Login to the hpbox
export DISPLAY=:0.0

run the application mostly in background.

Hi!
Simply try to download Xmanager and
install it on your box. Then try to configure it, following the
instructions. This way you will have
Xserver on your PC and then try to
connect to hp-system and start some Xapplication on your Desktop.
