Console control from VT session.

Is there any way to take console control from the current console and direct it to a virtual session? I would like to get to the GSP from a telnet session.

Thank you.

Hi.

Perhaps I don't understand your goal. It is possible to configure your lan console (n-class, L-class) to accept incoming telnet connections, assuming that it is connected to your network.

Are you asking if you can access the gsp while logged in to the system already? I believe that this is possible as well, but I'd have to go dig up my notes....

Re: Console control from VT session.

Thomas,
Actually it was a bone headed stunt on my part. We are using a test server (L2000) to run senerios of lost connectivity, and I used the secure web console to get to the GSP and turn on the lan console. Now I get a blank web console with no control. The server is in a remote location and I could go and hook up a laptop, but I wanted to see if there is a way to change it back by getting console control over telnet, or some setting I can do manually and then re-boot.

Thanks for the help,
Joe
