Re: COPS
Go to the bottom window and select The Coast Archive via WWW interface->Subject Index under Browsing and Searching (at the bottom)-select Unix (at the bottom) -select Perl Cops.
You have to make a few modifications to the config file, as:
NMAIL=0, SECURE_USER="root",$profile='/whatever/.profile'
$ftp='/etc/ftpd/ftpusers' (this is for HP11, for 10 is /etc/ftpusers). Execute cops with perl4: /usr/contrib/bin/perl cops -x.
For Satan if you change Makefile adding LIBS=-lnsl and satan.cf $don't_use_nslookup=1. Run make hpux9, perl reconfig, and should be ok.

Re: COPS
I haven't had to seek for 11.00 but I don't believe I need to. If you have the source and a compiler, I would say you would be more concerned with the latest version of COPS

Re: COPS
You can get Satan from the HP-UX Porting Centre at http://hpux.cs.utah.edu/ there are also some other great Security Tools there for HP-UX as well.
Hope that helps.

Re: COPS
1) vi cops.cf
change line 10 NMAIL=0; Have report go to screen, not mailed.
change line 12 SECURE_USERS="root";
2) vi root.chk
change line 64 $cshrc='/home/root/.cshrc'
change line 65 @profile='/home/root/.profile'
change line 66 $rhost='/home/root/.rhosts'
change line 78 $ftp='/etc/ftpd/ftpusers'
3) /usr/contrib/bin/perl cops -x
4) more $(hostname)/*
Good Luck,
Brian
