Core dump while using SAM?

For some unknown reason everytime I attemp to use SAM and look at the file systems I receive this error. "UNEXPECTED EXIT : process /usr/sam/lbin/samx -C -p 27275 -s fs_sa_mfs
/usr/sam/lib//fs.ui exited with a non-zero exit status.

sh: 27945 Memory fault.
Any help anyone can give would be very appreciated.

Thanks.

Re: Core dump while using SAM?

Hi Brian,

I'd start with the cumulattive SAM & obam patches for 11.11 - SAM - here:

http://www2.itrc.hp.com/service/patch/patchDetail.do?patchid=PHCO_31314

obam here:

http://www2.itrc.hp.com/service/patch/patchDetail.do?patchid=PHSS_31240

These are 11iv1 - 11.0 would be diferent.

Re: Core dump while using SAM?

hi brian

This is caused by a large route table - more specifically if

netstat -rn | wc -c

shows more than 32768 characters in output. This problem only occurs in
HPUX 11.00.
