core dump
when I login with a a/c,
it is abort by 'core dump' and wait for a very long time.

Hi,
When does it exactly coredump?. Post the output of your telnet session. Is it happening to only one user or all the users?. If it is only for the user, try moving his/her .profile and .sh_history as.old and see if it helps. If so, then you will need to look at .profile for issues.

does it happen to all accounts?
can you login the system as root, if yes, try to find out the core file, and issue "file core" to identify the executable which generated the core.

There should be a file called core produced. Some applications like oracle forms produce a file that they name.
The file can be looked at with the strings command sometimes. There are better tools some coming from the application vendor.
