Core File
user is on a UNIX box, user was running a sales tax report with the taxware software on the soptxa01 and got the error server memory fault core dump.
I did a file and what on the core file:

Any ideas what this means? Does this means that this patch is outdated?

To get useful data from a core file, you really need to run the corefile through a debugger and do a stack trace. That will tell you where in the execution the actual segmentation violation occurred.

Try if you have any debugger installed on your system like "gdb" for example which is there in almost all H-UX sustems (/opt/langtools/bin/gdb) , then run a command gdb -c core and see from where the core was generated .
