core files
Hello,
I'm trying to find out more info on enabling core files on HP-UX 10.20 and
sending them in to support for analysis. Any info will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Ken

Re: core files
Hi
for core dump analysis check the presence of files in directory
/var/adm/crash/core.x (x is any digit depending upon how many times your system
has crashed. also ask HP to send you the procedure "using Q4 to analyse system
dump fies for 10.20). you can use this procedure to create files and send
those across for analysis.
that is what we did when our system crashed. Hope it helps.

Re: core files
Enable the core files saving option in /etc/rc.config.d/savecore file by
setting changing the value for SAVECORE to 1.
