cpio trace

Hi, does cpio create a log file? If so where does it create this?

No, cpio doesnt create a logfile.

If you used the -v option then it would output to standard output (ie. your terminal/screen). Only if you redirected this output to a file would it create a log (eg. cpio -v.... >logfile)
Im from Palmerston North, New Zealand, but somehow ended up in London...
